Fujitec America currently has an opening for a Staff Accountant.

The Staff Accountant will work closely with Finance and Operations personnel to accurately value cost-of-goods sold and production reporting; prepare various journal entries; develop standard costs for material and labor cost comparisons; provide management with monthly and ad-hoc analysis; recommend opportunities for improvement; and insure accuracy of manufacturing, sales and cost information through proper use of company procedures and GAAP.

The Staff Accountant will also work with other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.

Other duties will include providing updated data for budgets, ensuring the reconciliation of inter-company and select General ledger accounts; tasks related to month end closing; responses to audit requirements; and maintenance of the FAS fixed asset tracking software system, and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of accounting experience and a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products also required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
• Working knowledge of GAAP

• Ability to communicate complex financial issues to non-financial users
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
